Dear Employees,

   I hope all is going well for you this summer. I wanted to make a few comments about our business. Our hours of care are down right now, but we hope hours will increase in the near future.

 Our personal care business continues to change. The latest change is that our clients could be covered by “Commonwealth Coordinated Care (CCC).” The plan is to combine both Medicare and Medicaid services. There are three insurance plans they could join: 1) Humana 2) Anthem or 3) Virginia Premier. We will continue to provide personal care and respite services to our clients. It is my understanding that insurance companies are in business to make a profit, I guess we will see what happens down the road.
